Came here for dinner date on a whim and all expectations were blown in the greatest of ways! Walked in amd four staff members behind the counter immediately turned towards us and gave us their undivided attention. We were promptly offered to sit where we'd like, and a waitress was at our table immediately behind us to grab drink orders and delivered menus. The waitress returned immediately with drinks and asked if we'd had enough time to decide on a food order. Waitress returned every three to five minutes to check on us and take our order. Food was on the table within 7 minutes, piping hot,and absolutely DELICIOUS! While we ate and chatted the waitress and staff checked on us frequently, checked the quality of food, and beverage status as well. The baba ganoushwas pristine, and so was the main course. My partner and I exclaimed several times that it was the BEST pick we could have made for the night, and we both fell victim to the "just one more bite" trap of wonderful food, leaving pleasantly stuffed, happy, and with food left over. The restaurant was perfectly lit, quiet, and comfortable, and all of the staff was beyond pleasant and accommodating. We had to order the baklava to go, but I'm sure it will be just as enjoyable as the rest of the meal. Having traveled to many Middle Eastern countries, I was impressed by the taste of the food as many places simply fall short. Will most certainly be returning for multiple repeat visits, and adding this to a list of go-to eateries in the Springs!

Love, LOVE Heart of Jerusalem! We’ve been going here of years and are so happy they have a few locations. We met one of the owners, Faris, and he was so welcoming. Their falafel is the BEST, and come in cute heart shapes. The hummus is fresh made as well, and their baklava is absolutely delicious!

After a long day of traveling for work, we were searching for something healthy, hearty, and fast — and Heart of Jerusalem Café delivered above and beyond. The food is an amazing blend of fresh Greek and Middle Eastern flavors. My platter came loaded with juicy chicken, creamy hummus, warm pita, crispy falafel, and a delicious Greek salad. Everything tasted phenomenal, and the portions are huge for the price. The service was equally impressive — friendly staff and the owner personally checked on us multiple times. You can feel the pride and heart they put into their food and hospitality. They have locations in Colorado and Florida — I live in Utah and wish they had one close to home! Whenever I’m in Colorado Springs for work, this is absolutely at the top of my restaurant list. Highly recommended — a true local gem!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the whole state! We live in Denver but stop by whenever we are in the Springs. The food is absolutely incredible, great portions for the price, and friendly service. Definitely don’t skip the sage tea or the dolmas! Would highly recommend! ????????

Delicious! The chicken kabob plate was so good and the servings are huge! The hummus and falafel were good and everything was so flavorful. We were able to walk in and sit right away; the place was packed but service was quick and everyone was so nice.

The food was incredible! We just so happend to come across this place on our way to elsewhere. There were four of us, and we each ordered a different dish thinking they were single servings — but the portions were huge, and we couldn’t come close to finishing everything. The chicken kebabs were especially good — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. I highly recommend the falafels; they were absolutely delicious and ended up being my lunch for the day. We also tried the Turkish coffee, but it wasn’t really to our taste — very strong and not as sweet as we expected. The women who served us were incredibly kind and welcoming.

Boss Faris is incredibly kind, ingredients are crunchy fresh, and the food is absolutely fantastic. I came hoping to get a taste of the kind of home food Jesus might have eaten—and I was not disappointed. Everything was so flavorful and comforting, I honestly found myself wondering how He managed to fast for 40 days. I’m completely in love with the food and the heart behind it. Highly recommend!
